Grand Rounds
A patient presented with blurry vision associated with distortion OS. Self-referred to Bascom Palmer. VA: OD: 20/20 and OS: 20/200. Imaging work up was significant for OCT, showing subretinal fluid, choroidal thickness and elevation map. Fluorescein angiography revealed multiple leakage points, guttering on autofluorescence and staining on ICGA. Patient reported being under stress after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer six years ago. Patient was already treated with PDT in April 2019, retreated in June 2020 with resolution of the fluid in September. Patient was seen in January without fluid and the next visit is scheduled for the end of April.
