Description
This patient has a history of ruptured globe, aphakia, and retinal detachment repair with silicone oil. He developed band keratopathy. 23-gauge silicone oil removal was performed from the anterior and posterior chamber. 3% EDTA was used with a blade to
remove the calcium deposits in the Bowman's layer. A fluid air exchange was completed. The patient maintained 20/200 corrected vision with a clear cornea.
