Lisch Corneal Dystrophy

A patient presented with blurry vision in the left eye and was found to have a pigmented superficial corneal lesion which showed hyperreflectivity without thickening on the AS-OCT. The lesion was biopsied and confirmed to be Lisch corneal dystrophy on pathology. The lesion recurred and was treated with debridement with MMC. Several months later, the lesion recurred for a third time with worsening symptoms, and the patient was started on 5-FU with improvement. We will discuss the history of Lisch corneal dystrophy, its clinical features and multimodal imaging findings, as well as the management and treatment.
