Abstract
A patient with a past ocular history of pseudophakia in both eyes, pseudoexfoliation glaucoma in both eyes, pseudophakic bullous keratopathy in the left eye, and persistent cystoid macular edema in the left eye, presented for evaluation for endothelial keratoplasty of the left eye. Examination was notable for a pseudophacodensis and an inferiorly displaced intraocular lens of the left eye. Ultrasound biomicroscopy was performed which revealed lens-iris touch. The patient subsequently underwent lens removal with pars plana vitrectomy. Two months later the patient underwent intraocular lens placement (Yamane technique) and descemet’s stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK) of the left eye. She had resolution of the corneal edema and cystoid macular edema with improvement in vision and intraocular pressure.
