Description
This is a patient with JIA and inflammatory uveitis. The vision was hand motions with synechiae, cataract, and vitritis. Multiple paracenteses were made and viscoelastic was used to for synechialysis. The light pipe was employed for retro illumination
to visualize the capsule. The lens was removed with I/A. Capsulectomy and vitrectomy were performed with laser to the temporal areas of vascular leakage on FA. The patient had the inflammation controlled with methotrexate and adalimumab. 20/20 vision
was maintained with an aphakic contact lens.
