Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (Osler–Weber–Rendu Syndrome)
A patient with no past ocular history presented with a 3-day history of bloody tears. Examination revealed multifocal telangiectasias on both the right and left tarsal conjunctiva. Systemic evaluation revealed oral mucosal telangiectasis, palmar telangiectasis, recurrent epistaxis, recurrent gastrointestinal hemorrhages, and a family history of similar complaints. The patient was eventually diagnosed with Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (Osler–Weber–Rendu syndrome). A novel treatment of timolol twice a day was utilized, which resulted in symptomatic relief.
