Exudative Retinal Detachment in a Patient with Phakomatosis Pigmentovascularis Secondary to Latanoprostene Bunod

A young patient was brought in by her mother to evaluate elevated pressure in her right eye. Exam revealed a port wine birth mark over the V1/V2 distribution of the right eye and Nevus of Ota. Patient demonstrated an IOP of 28 in the right eye. Due to multiple medication intolerances, patient was prescribed Latanoprostene Bunod. Patient later presented with dull foveal reflex and was found to have subretinal fluid on OCT macula. Latanoprostene Bunod was stopped and patient found to have an improvement in subretinal fluid. Patient is currently followed by BPEI.
