Description
A patient with advanced primary open angle glaucoma and a history of a prior trabeculectomy with subsequent scarring and uncontrolled intraocular pressure presented with a visually significant cataract. After successful phacoemulsification and intraocular lens placement, bleb needling was performed, with significant elevation of the previously scarred trabeculectomy bleb. Months later, the patient's intraocular pressure remains well controlled.
