Sebaceous Cell Carcinoma



Abstract
A patient presents to the Bascom Palmer emergency room with complaints of bloody tearing. Exam demonstrates a large, erythematous epithelial mass on the left upper eyelid palpebral surface. Biopsy of the lesion demonstrates a poorly differentiated carcinoma demonstrating positivity for adipophilin, p53 mutation, and Ki-67. The patient was diagnosed with a poorly differentiated sebaceous carcinoma and was scheduled for map biopsy to evaluate for pagetoid spread. Following this, patient will undergo complete wide local excision followed by reconstruction of posterior lamellae.
