OCT, FAF, Fundus Photos for Subcutaneous Pentosan Polysulfate Maculopathy

Description

Color photos show bilateral paracentral RPE pigment clumps with subtle yellow subretinal deposits and symmetric parafoveal involvement, with foveae relatively spared. OCT demonstrates focal nodular RPE elevations, overlying EZ irregularity, parafoveal outer retinal thinning, and discrete patches of RPE atrophy with increased choroidal transmission, without SRF or IRF. FAF reveals a dense speckled pattern of hyper- and hypo-autofluorescent spots in the posterior pole with a parafoveal ring and peripapillary hypo-AF halo, colocalizing to OCT lesions. Overall pattern is consistent with PPS-associated maculopathy.
