Abstract
A patient with a significant past ocular history of myopia presents with progressively decreased vision for 3 years. Examination revealed tilted optic nerves, myopic fundus, and subretinal fluid. Optical coherence tomography of the macula of both eyes demonstrated a dome-shaped appearance of the macula with a large area of subretinal fluid. Further imaging, with fundus autofluorescence with mixed areas of hyper- and hypoautofluorescece. Fluorescein angiography with scattered areas of pooling within the macula. Indocyanine green with discrete small foci of hypocyanescence in the macula. Overall, history, clinical presentation, and multimodal imaging are consistent with a diagnosis of dome-shaped maculopathy.
