A patient developed proptosis, severe restrictive strabismus, and elevated intraocular pressure secondary to an encapsulated Baerveldt glaucoma drainage implant fibrotic capsule. The patient underwent trabeculectomy, tube ligation, and excision of the fibrotic capsule with subsequent resolution of symptoms and improved intraocular pressure control.
