Abstract
A patient with a past ocular history of high hyperopic LASIK as an original participant of the FDA VISX investigational trial, presenting with ghosting vision in the right eye. The patient underwent lift and retreatment for irregular astigmatism but unfortunately developed epithelial ingrowth as a complication. The patient then had trouble positioning correctly due to severe kyphosis and physical limitations secondary to a car accident injury. As an alternative to lift and debridement, the patient underwent YAG laser treatment of epithelial ingrowth. The patient underwent 5 treatments over 3 years with ultimate resolution of epithelial ingrowth and UCVA of 20/25.
